
Giving through your payroll is one of the most effective ways to donate to a charity.
Payroll Giving is tax efficient way of giving directly from your salary. Your donation is deducted from your monthly earnings before tax, which means that the money you would have given to the Inland Revenue can go to the Charity instead.
For example, a monthly gift of £20 will cost you about £15.60 from your net pay and a higher rate tax payer only about £12.
If you would like to make a donation to Essex Air Ambulance through Payroll Giving ask your employer if they have a scheme and they will put it in place for you.
