PRIZE FOR COLNE VALLEY CYCLE RIDE

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules (“Rules”) apply to the ‘Colne Valley Cycle Ride’ for the Essex Air Ambulance Cycle Ride event which takes place at Earls Colne Business Park on Sunday 31st May 2009.
By entering this Competition, anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules and to be bound by them.
1. Details of the Competition
• Participants in the Colne Valley Cycle Ride pay £20 to take part and are given a registration pack which contains a sponsorship form. They are encouraged to obtain sponsorships for cycling the 20+ mile route.
• Participants are given four weeks after the event to return their completed sponsorship forms to the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust with all moneys raised.
• Sponsorship forms received by Tues 30th June will be collated and the person who has raised and paid in the highest amount of funds will win a mountain bike worth £200 donated by Autoparts of Braintree.
• The contestant must provide proof of their entry in order to claim their prize from Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust and their sponsor.
• All matters relating to the Competition will be at the discretion of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust.
2. Eligibility
• Any employees of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust and their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the competition.
• The Competition is open to participants who have registered to take part on or before 31st May 2009.
• Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified.
• Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose sponsorship form is not received.
• An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.
• All entrants must be over the age of 14 years.
3. Prize
• All decisions of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The prize is a mountain cycle worth £200 from Autoparts of Braintree. No alternative will be offered on this prize.
• The winner is requested to attend a media opportunity on a convenient date when the prize will be handed over.
